Octi-Dry® Wall Drying System was developed to insure that the restorer does what his job is, to restore rather that “Tear Out” the Wall and Floors. The system should be used where water has wicked up the walls (wood or sheetrock) to more than 6 inches. The Unit is approximately 10 and 1/2 feet long and has seven sleeves with seven jets allowing a drying capacity of 12 linear feet. The Octi-Dry® Wall Drying System connects end to end and can be used for short applications as well as infinite applications. I have connected as many as 20 in one run. You may or may not attach an Air Mover to the Entry Collar on each unit of the system. You can dry up to 50 linear feet of walls with one air mover or you may attach an air mover to each unit. You place one of the jets in a pre-punched 1 and 3/8” hole and swivl the jet in the direction you want your air to flow. (See: Octi-Punch)

Octi-Mat® Floor Drying System: We designed the Octi-Dry® Mat to be “Economical, Versitle, Practical, and Non Complicated. The Mat is a “Positive Air”, 10x10, two layer, inflatable system. The Octi-Mat® allows the “Warm Dry Air” to seep out the bottom layer and break up the “Boundary Layer” of moist air that sits just on top of the “real tongue and groove wet hardwood floors”.(not for 3 layer or floating laminate type floors!) This allows for “Air Exchanges” that carry the moisture from the wet floors out from under the mat to be recycled.

Octi-Hole Punch: We know you can make this punch yourself, this is just to get you started!? A lot of Tech’s are still using a drill and bit to access walls. Take a 1” (inside hole diameter) section of schedule 40 pvc plumbing pipe 16” long. Cut one end at approximately 60 degree angle. After you have removed the Base Trim, Place the angled end under the caulking line at the desired first location and tap lightly until the tube cuts an access hole to insert the jet of the Octi-Dry® Wall Dryer. Use the 16 inch punch to measure from this hole to the desired location of the next hole!!! This technique came from my long time friend Carl!!! Everyone thanks you Carl!!
